Remote Disablement
Occasionally, 98point6 may need to remotely disable your SDK integration. We reserve the right to perform a remote disablement in cases of:
A high-severity defect, as defined by 98point6. 98point6 considers defects to be high-severity when service is blocked for more than 2% of users, or degraded for more than 50% of users.
A high-severity or critical security incident.
An SDK version that is over one month out of date, as defined by one month after the point where a new version of the SDK is provided to a SDK Partner.
The SDK Partner app has not updated its minimum supported operating system (OS) version within three months of 98point6’s request. This request will never be higher than the most recent OS version (minus two) for iOS, or the most recent OS version (minus five) for Android.
The SDK Partner app has not updated an internal library shared by the SDK to a minimum version within two months of 98point6’s request.
Unless the SDK version is over one month out of date, 98point6 will give a 30 minute (at the very least) warning before remotely disabling the SDK. The warning will be communicated via the service notification email address, as well as the provided emergency contact method.
In the case when the SDK version is over one month out of date (i.e. when a user is using an outdated version of the SDK Partner app), 98point6 will not notify SDK Partner when remotely disabling the outdated SDK version.
