November 2023.11.00 Release

See the information below to learn more about the November 2023.11.00 release (see mobile for November mobile features and updates):

NOTE: The following features and updates may not apply to all users.

New Features:

SteadyMD Integration

Some users want SteadyMD clinicians to support their clinics. In preparation, SteadyMD requires a product launch certification to ensure that visit states are synced between SteadyMD and 98point6 systems. Syncing allows SteadyMD to accurately assign visits to their clinicians, and to project staffing needs based on historical visit data.

Authentication Endpoint

New endpoint allows some customers to authenticate their users without requiring a phone number and one-time password (OTP).

Prevent Prescription Renewals in SureScripts

Prescriptions filled through the clinician Console now default to a no automatic refills allowed status, requiring patients to schedule a visit.

Pediatric Conjunctivitis Practice Standard

The Pediatric Conjunctivitis Practice Standard is now released and provides recommendations for clinician consideration based on both the diagnosis and treatment of viral, bacterial, and allergic conjunctivitis for pediatric patients between the ages of 1 and 17.

The I think I have pink eye can trigger this practice standard for patients between the ages of 1 and 17. (See Pediatric Conjunctivitis Practice Standard for more information.)

Training on the practice standard can be found here.

New Copay/Fee Collection Report

98point6 now offers a daily report, allowing our users with Stripe accounts the ability to receive a daily report of all fees collected within the Stripe app. This report will be used to reconcile payments that have been collected in Stripe.

Updates and Fixes:

This update is a routine maintenance update, changing flu season in the Respiratory Infection Practice Standard to peak-season for the months of December, January, and February. This update affects the practice standard's evaluation of influenza cases.

Guarantor Relationship Update

The bug setting the Guarantor Relationship field to OT^Other for dependents, instead of using the proper codes for mother, father, or grandparents, has been fixed. It is now working as expected.

Lab Results Footer Text Change

Some users have added support for lab display results within their app. Currently, the .pdf document that displays lab results contains, This document was generated by 98point6, Inc at the bottom of the document.

Affected users now have an updated verbiage to reflect that the document was generated by the name of their own clinics. (The previous verbiage remains the same for unaffected users.)

Transfer of Patient Support

Modifications have been made to facilitate the transition of certain users from the 98point6 support instance to their own.
