See the information below to learn more about the 0.3.0 release:

New Features:

Programming Language Change (FF-263, CS-2006)

As the 98point6 team transitions from the Java programming language to Kotlin, code is released for existing code and functionality to ensure that everything continues to function properly. Once the team determines that functionality continues to work as expected, new features are released.

This week, the ProviderAvailabilityOrchestrator class was moved from Java to Kotlin to ensure a smooth transition between the two languages. (A class is a programming template used to create objects and provide structure for data.)

Unauthorized Roles Banner (FF-301, CLIN-1396)

Previously, unauthorized users would see a blank screen when attempting to access the PMT. Now, an error message banner is displayed, informing them that they do not have the necessary permissions to view the page.

Updates and Fixes:

SOAP Notes - Page Refresh (FF-311, CLIN-1116)

The Subjective, Objective, Assessment, and Plan (SOAP) notes were not preserved after page refreshes. This issue has been fixed.

OTP Security Message (FF-315, ELIG-1942)

Previously, the security message for the One-Time Password (OTP) referenced 98point6. Now, the OTP message references the name of the clinic.

Strings Service Migration (FF-324, CLIN-1051)

Employee resources have been migrated to a strings service. This means that relevant data has been transferred from an internal system to a strings service that stores and manages data, making it easier to access and manage employee resources.

Respiratory Infection Practice Standard Updates (FF-330, PS-416)

The Respiratory Infection (RI) Practice Standard (PS) is now updated to align with the following policy changes from the CDC:

  • Removal of questions regarding monovalent COVID-19 vaccinations.

  • The RI PS logic has been updated to include patients who have received bivalent COVID-19 vaccination as having an up-to-date vaccination status.

  • Updated flu season from shoulder season (the months of October, November, March through May) to off season (June through September) as we enter into the month of June.
