Behavioral Health - Console
Adult patients are able to schedule Behavioral Health appointments once they have completed and received a referral from a primary care visit (see Patient Behavioral Health Visit for more information). During scheduling of the first session, patients are required to complete the APA DSM-5 Cross-Cut Assessment.
Therapists are then notified of Behavioral Health appointments via the OnceHub mailer. Once scheduled, the OnceHub mailer sends an email confirmation that contains all pertinent information such as the patient information, date, time, and other necessary appointment details.
To prepare for the patient visit:
Athena: Begin with Athena to open a letter charting template, to review patient information such as the patient profile (allows therapists to create a new one if one does not already exist), and any prior therapy visits with other therapists.
NOTE: It is recommended to review this information at least 24 hours prior to the patient appointment.
Within Athena, therapists will copy and paste the reason for the referral, the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores, answers to the pre-visit assessment (see step #s 2 and 3 below for the scores and assessment), and the patient’s Emergency Contact information (found within appointment email confirmation) into the template.
Patient Management Tool: Review the referral from the patient’s physician and view PHQ-9 and GAD-7 scores. (See Account Management Tool for more information.)
Patient pre-visit assessment: Allows therapists to ensure the patient was appropriately referred.
