Automated Practice Standards

Practice Standards are automated tools developed by clinical subject matter experts (SMEs) to provide information for you to consider regarding the diagnosis, treatment, and documentation of assessments for specific sets of conditions.

98point6 has incorporated some of these Practice Standard algorithms into our product. The patient bot interview is triggered by the data science system, predicting that the diagnosis will be one that the standard can handle. The information considered within the data science system is the patient’s:

• chief concern

• age

• sex (assigned at birth)

Based on output responses, a suggested diagnosis, treatment, and assessment is then presented to you for consideration. You can also reject the recommendations and then entering a reason. This reason is reviewed to improve the automated Practice Standard.

You will also find Practice Standards when chatting with patients. These responses are based on both the patient bot interview, along with patient responses to questions during the patient visit.
